She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Garland and Genevieve Garland (Neathery); her children, Laura Williams and Leo Rodney Burris; her granddaughter Jennifer Cann-Wood; her great grandchildren, Brittany and Kayla Powers; and her brothers, Clifford, Charles and Elwin Simmons.
She is survived by: her significant other Leo Lester Burris; her daughter Kathy Cox; her grandchildren, Chad Feeney (Tonnya), Joshua Feeney, Brevan Flaugher (Christina) and Stefan Flaugher (Leigh Ann Ledbetter); and her great grandchildren, Landyn, Aidyn, Madisyn, Prestyn, Daniel, Maryn and Morgyn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and treasured friends.
