He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Newsome; his children, Claire Williams, Dessa Williams, Rachel Van Dyke, Orlandius Lacey, Maurice Foster, Gordon Williams, Justin Newsome and Thomas Williams; his sisters, Gladys and Rosland; and his siblings-in-law, Mayme Cass (William), Joann Campbell and Elroy Newsome. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
