We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2024, at the age of 87, Rawleigh Dee Armes Jr. of Granite City, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rawleigh Armes, Sr. and Marie Jaeger (Lundy); his daughter Linda Armes; his grandson Brandon Bukowski; and his sister Italine Lipscomb.
He is survived by: his children, Corine Harris of Granite City, Dianne Armes of Granite City and Rawleigh III Armes (Jeanne); his grandchildren, Jason Armes (Anna) of Chicago, Ryan Armes of St. Louis, Nicole Gebhardt of St Louis, Cara Mattice (Cole) of Granite City, Lindsey Armes of Farmington, MO, Shane Armes of Granite City, Baileigh Armes and Rawleigh Armes IV; his great grandchildren, Penelope Armes, Isla Armes, Brian Groboski, Lucas Armes, Tyler Bukowski and Abbey Mills; his stepson Daniel Hunziker, Jr.; and his siblings, Gene Armes (Carol), John Jaeger (Christi), William "Bill" Armes and Vicki Davis (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
