He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest W. Straedey and Katherine Straedey (Gummersheimer); and his brother Ernest R. Straedey. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Straedey of Granite City; his children, Debbie Feilner (Larry) of Highland and Don Vitale of Granite City; his grandchildren, Dana Baugher (Trey) and Deanna Weinacht (Jeff); and his great grandchildren, Carter Baugher, Lucas Baugher, Maxton Weinacht and Colton Weinacht. He is also survived by his niece, nephew, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Unity Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the funeral chapel.
