He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis E. Gosnell and Gladys Gosnell (Lowe); his son Martin E. Gosnell; and his siblings, Otis "Bud" Gosnell and Peggy Morelan.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta M. Gosnell (Sutt); his granddaughter Jennifer Strong (Daryn) of Granite City; his great grandchildren, Sebastian Sronce (Leigha) of Granite City, Alex Sronce of Granite City, Dylan McMichael of Chicago and Natalee Janisch (Luke) of North Carolina; and his great great grandchildren, Esme and Scott. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; other extended family.
