He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Phipps and Annie Walker (Broom); his wife Mary Pace; his children, Doris Daily and Gary Phipps; and his son-in-law Elmond Daily.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Daily-Pope (Bruce) of Granite City, Margaret Kachuba (Rick) of Virginia Beach, VA, Janet Smiddy (Mark) of Granite City and Mary Juhas of Trumann, AR; and his grandchildren, Tina Burris (Mike), Pam James, Rick Daily (Meghan), Ron Daily (Denise), Ricky Kachuba, Billy Kachuba (Rhonda), Jeff Kachuba (Crystal), Stephanie Burnett (Jonathon) and Jennifer O'Dell (Shawn). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
