Ruth Marie Welch Obituary

We bid farewell to Ruth Marie Welch of Granite City, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 11, 2025 at the age of 74. Ruth Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Welch and Rose Mary Welch (Koehler); and her brother William R. Welch. She is survived by: her brother David Welch (Sylvia) of Winfield, MO; her sister-in-law Betty Welch; and her nieces and nephews, William J. Welch, Amanda Yeager (Jerry), Robert Welch, Chris Welch (Katrina), James Welch (Michelle), Herbert Welch, Nick Welch (Kim), Scott Welch (Tricia) and Mike Welch. She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (2300 Pontoon Rd, Granite City, IL 62040).

Memorial donations may be given in the form of Masses.
