Verdean Marlette Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 25, 2022, at the age of 85, Verdean Marlette of Granite City, Illinois, born in Caraway, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Burley Ballard and Grace Ballard (Ford); her son Joseph Marlette; and her siblings, Charlene Barnfield, Anah Holcomb and Bill Ballard.

She is survived by: her daughters, Toni Toennies (Mark) of Caseyville and Sandy Marlette (Lance Parmley) of Granite City, Illinois; her grandchildren, Daniel Toennies (Ashley), Ryan Toennies (Shara), Kathryn Hulse (Eric), Glenn King Jr. (Jerika) and Donald King (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Alli, Haiden, Connor, Audrina and Colton.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital or Tri City Park Tabernacle.
