He is survived by: his children, Regina Sulton (Gene) of University Place, WA, Terrance Mitchell of Godfrey, IL and Christopher Mitchell of Alton, IL; and his siblings, Sandra Revels (Mack), John Buford (Rosemary), Vincent Mitchell (Viviette) and Clara Wilson. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
