With solemn reverence, we commemorate William N. Knapp of Granite City, Illinois, whose life came to an end on December 12, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Knapp and Ruth Knapp (George); his wife Thelma Rella Knapp (Rudnicki); his son Michael Alan Knapp; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Elma Rudnicki; his siblings, Gene Knapp, Dan Knapp, Marie Stein and Carolyn Knapp; and his brother-in-law Dennis Ray Cooper.
He is survived by: his son William V. Knapp of Granite City; his daughter-in-law Judith A. Knapp of Granite City; his brother Kenneth; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Crick of Edwardsville, Carol Cooper of Granite City and Sue Knapp of Staunton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040).
Memorials may be made to Tri City Assembly of God Church.
