He is survived by: his wife Dixie Kalips; his children, Brandy Kary (Eric), Krista Hinds and Michael Kalips (Brandy); his grandchildren, Brooke, Megan, Jacob, Nicholas and Lexie; his great grandchildren, Jett and Rayne; and his siblings, Joe Kalips, Barb Robertson, Patricia McDonald, Charolette Yarbrough, Felicia Rees and Lena Moses. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
