We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Wilma Rice of Granite City, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Wilma had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Wilma may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Rice and Flora Rice (Houser); and her siblings, Harold, Jim Rice, Alice Worthen, Ruth Jones and Eileen Gray.
She is survived by: her pet Brandy; and her sister JoAnn Jarrett of Granite City. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Legacy Golf Course Clubhouse (3500 Cargill Rd, Granite City, IL 62040).
In honor of Wilma's memory, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Best Friends Animal Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
