He is survived by: his children, David A. Sheikh (Gillian) of Webster Groves, Lisa S. Lewis (John) of Ashburn, Virginia, Dawn C. Sheikh (Herb Heaton) of Edwardsville, Dean R. Sheikh (Rene) of Englewood, Shawn C. Sheikh of Granite City and Maureen V. Martin (Conner) of San Diego, California; his grandchildren, Penny Martin, Cameron Sheikh, Ethan Sheikh, Radek Sheikh and Jean Louise Sheikh; and his siblings, Sultan Ahmed and Firdous Begum of Karachi, Pakistan. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
