We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2022, at the age of 88, Jacob H. Hoekstra of Grant Park, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jacob H. Hoekstra to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Laura Klemp-Hoekstra; his parents, Herman Kooyenga-Hoekstra and Effie Kooyenga-Hoekstra; and his brothers, Drewes "Duke", Tom and Menno Hoekstra.

He is survived by : his children, Herman (Effie Kooyenga-Hoekstra), Marlene Smith (Larry), Robert (Carol) and Glenn Hoekstra (Jan); his grandchildren, Jennifer Smith (Christina Goodrich), Jeff Smith (Heidi), Adam Hoekstra (Diane) and Calvin Hoekstra (Kaleigh); his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Naomi, Kimber and Jade Hoekstra; and his sister Thelma Kok (John).
