She was predeceased by: her husband Robert A Kooy; her daughter Patricia Bubness (Bill); her siblings, Lucille Schurman (late Everett) and Harold Zeilenga (late Beatrice); and her parents, Peter Zeilenga and Henrietta Zeilenga.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Kooy (Valerie), Darrell Kooy (Michelle), James Kooy (Debby) and Cynthia Ipema (Mark); and her sisters, Shirley VanDerAa (Don) and Betty Lenczycki (Norman). She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Momence Orthodox Presbyterian Church (4132 IL-1, Momence, IL 60954). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Momence Cemetery E (10424 E 4000 N Rd, Momence, IL 60954).
