He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Rea; his mother Clara Rea; and his son Sean Rea. He is survived by: his children, Stacy Kothe (Paul) and Shane Rea (Annie); his grandchildren, Sean Rea Jr. (Molly), Bryana Kothe, Warren Rea, Levi Kelly (Logan), Kylee Kothe and Clara Rea; and his great grandchild Mason Rea.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
