She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Schwarz; her parents, Frank Gatford and Olive Gatford; and her sisters, Dorothy and Marjorie Gatford.

She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Ruby (Rob) and Diane Cleaver; her granddaughter Brianna Wentzell (Michael); her great grandchild Sean Wentzell; her brother Norman Gatford (Lou Jane); and her nephew Lewis Gatford (Liz).

Memorial donations may be made to the Humane World for Animals or Save-A-Pet in Grayslake, Illinois.
