He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Shaw and Mary Shaw; his sisters, Ilene Shaw and Susan Ekman; his brother-in-law Barry Ekman; and his pets, Sandie, Tux and Riley.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Erickson (Travis), Jessica Shaw (Shawn) and Zachary Shaw (Jessica); the mother of his children Judy Johnson; his granddaughter Emma Erickson; his cousin Fred Kagan; his nieces, Julie and Lisa Ekman; and his nephew David Jimenez-Ekman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the First Draft (250 Center St, Grayslake, IL 60030). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Strang Funeral Home (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030).
