With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol J. Nykol of Grayslake, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnson and Frances Johnson; her son Ross Nykol; and her husband Jim Nykol. She is survived by: her sons, Jay Nykol and Chris Nykol (Barbara); her grandchildren, Aaron Nykol, Krissie Howard (Elijah), Grace Nykol (Christina) and Kate Nykol; her great grandchildren, Aries and Tajia; her sister Rochelle Weber; and her nieces, Elizabeth and Christine.

A memorial visitation and service is scheduled for Friday, August 29, 2025, at Lutheran Home Chapel 800 W. Oakton St. Arlington Heights, IL 60004 from 10:00am until 11:00am with the service commencing at 11:00am and lunch at noon (Please RSVP).
