Joan D. Schilling Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan D. Schilling of Grayslake, Illinois, who passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Drewes and Bertha Drewes; and her sister Elaine Fettig. She is survived by: her daughters, Patty Brown and Nancy Powers (Bob Vasilopulos); and her grandchildren, Emma Cappa, Ryan Brown, Sofi Brown and Malleigh Powers.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Romney Brown Candle Company (170 Center St Suite 1, Grayslake, IL 60030).
