It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Y. Braden (Grayslake, Illinois), who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of June Y. Braden to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though June may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Junior Yates and Louise Marie Benefiel Yates; and her brothers, Ernie Yates of Bartlesville and William "Butch" Yates of Ponca City, Oklahoma.. She is survived by: her husband William Braden; her sons, Christopher Braden (Jill) of Gurnee and Gregory Braden (Wayne) of Chicago, Illinois; her grandchildren, Cooper Braden of Gurnee and Dakota Elizabeth Braden of Gurnee, Illinois; and her brother Gary Yates (Deb) of Ponca City.
