With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen L. Tomaszek of Grayslake, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 12, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Jacob Besefske and Muriel Besefske; her husband James V. Tomaszek; her children, Caity Kania (Steve) of Lake Barrington, IL, Michelle Davenport of Andover, MA and Annie Tomaszek of McHenry, IL; her grandchildren, JJ Kania, Matt Kania, Nate Kania, Leo Davenport and Sophie Davenport; her sisters, Cheryl Kelly (Bob) and Laura Lane (Bill); and her nieces and nephews, Kari, Colleen, Julie, Brian, Kristina, Lindsey, Lindsay and Lauren.
