She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Vandernald and Johanna Vandernald; her husband Arthur Kent Rich; and her sisters, Lorraine Graf and Nancy Slodki.
She is survived by: her children, Kathe Rich (Frank Popp) of Fairbanks, AK and Kent Rich (Robyn) of Monson, ME; her granddaughter Annie Rich of Portland, ME; and her brother Walter H. "Bud" Vandernald II of Barrington, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
