Loretta Carr Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2026, Loretta Carr of Grayslake, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Loretta's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Loretta's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Carr. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Carr (Edward Coats) and Michael Carr; her grandchildren, Jack Carr and Mackenzie Carr; and her niece Janice Reineke Ryskiewicz. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (6401 Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at the Ascension Cemetery (1920 W Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60030).
