She was predeceased by: her parents, George Otte and Marcella Otte; her husband Ed; and her brothers, George, Jr. and Robert.

She is survived by: her children, Karyl Kandefer, Frank Kandefer (Sue), Roberta Kleinschmidt (Greg), Donna Zaverdas (Anthony), Charlie Kandefer (Debbie) and Mark Kandefer (Roseanne); her grandchildren, Heather Schultz (Jeff), Jonathan Frankland (Karla Ziller), Jameson Frankland (Alicia), Steven Kandefer, Brian Kandefer (Shelley), Michael Kandefer, Greg Kleinschmidt, Jr., Brad Kleinschmidt (Lindsey), Katie Norlin (Nick), Kyle Kleinschmidt (Olivia), Matthew Zaverdas, Amanda Zaverdas, Adam Kandefer (Tianna Brown), Rebecca Kandefer (Cody Dietrich), Rachel Kandefer, Vinnie Kandefer and Peter Kandefer; and her great grandchildren, Ayden Frankland, Payton Smith, Kaydence Charrier, Kylee Baker, Kailynn Baker, Sawyer Kandefer, Aria Kandefer, Evy Kleinschmidt, Lucas Kleinschmidt, Charlotte Norlin, Melanie Norlin and Greg Kleinschmidt, III. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
