The family announces the passing of Marlene A. Badgerow (Grayslake, Illinois) on October 10, 2026. Marlene, born on October 27, 1933, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Horenberger and Rose Horenberger; her sister Rosemary; and her brother-in-law Bill Kilman. She is survived by: her children, Niles Badgerow (Tina), Dale Badgerow (Arminda) and Gale Pyles (Walter); her grandchildren, Brandy (CJ), Jamie (Rick), Casandra (Sean), Jenna (Ricky), Devon, Everett (Kayla), Emily, Faith and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Kibou, Angelina, Patrick, Aubree, Lucy, Parker, Stevie and Michael; and her husband James Gerald Badgerow (Jerry). She is also survived by her children and their spouses; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the United Protestant Church (54 S Whitney St, Grayslake, IL 60030). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
