Gehrke of Hainesville; his son Nathan Gehrke of Hainseville; his father Lee Gehrke (Gerry) of Naperville, IL; his siblings, Dorie Howell (David) of Fond du Lac, WI and Jeffrey (Kim Christianson) of Lindenhurst, IL; and his close friends, Rick Cogswell, Derek McGrew and Mike King (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Symonds-Lakes Funeral Home (111 W Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Symonds Lakes Funeral Home (111 W Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). The military honors will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Symonds-Lakes Funeral Home (111 W Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030).
