He is survived by: his wife Gloria Mae Fritz; his children, Stephen, Lori Carpenter (Roger) and Deborah Perez (Emilio); his grandchildren, Heather Schaefer (Erik), Scott (Emily), Nicholas Perez, David Perez, Hannah Blumberg (Zachary) and Tyler Carpenter; his great grandchild Shay; and his siblings, Frances Finger (Carl), Maxine Faye Kessel (Merle) and Mervin (Gretchen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Glory Lutheran Church (607 W Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
