He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Hedlund and Victor Hedlund; his wife Tiiu Hedlund; and his sister Lee Neuckranz. He is survived by: his children, Mark Hedlund (Kerry), Tim Hedlund (Ouley) and Michelle Schumacher; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hedlund, Steve Hedlund, Scottie Hedlund, Daniel Hedlund, Jessica Schumacher, Amanda Bromfield (Sean) and Michael Schumacher; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Jayla, Kaylee and Logan; and his brother Ted Hedlund Jr..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Andrew Lutheran Church (10 S Lake St, Mundelein, IL 60060). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
