She was predeceased by : her parents, William Schmidt and June Schmidt; and her brother Bill Schmidt. She is survived by : her husband Greg Clauser; her daughters, Michelle Clauser, Stephanie Abrams and Rebekah Pozen (Michael); her grandchildren, Grace Abrams, Reese Pozen and Mason Pozen; and her brother Paul Schmidt.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030).
