He was predeceased by : his parents, Sidney (Elizabeth Howe) and Philip. He is survived by : his wife Kirsten Reeder Howe; his daughters, Sarah Elliott (David) of Grayslake, IL and Susie Howe (Sam O'Connor-Divelbiss) of Lake Bluff, IL; his granddaughters, Edith and Zoe; and his siblings, Judith Bennett of Marietta, GA, Elizabeth Bonanno of Suwanee, GA, Stephen Howe of Kalispell, MT and Michael Howe of Peterborough, NH..

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church (22333 W Erhart Rd, Mundelein, IL 60060).
