It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard M. Blumenberg (Grayslake, Illinois), who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Blumenberg and Irene Blumenberg. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia; his daughter Deborah Patton; his son-in-law Leslie Patton; his grandson Daniel Barker; his son Richard Blumenberg; his daughter-in-law Kristy Blumenberg; his grandchildren, Rebecca Blumenberg, Josh and Lauren; his great grandchild Josh (Ryan); and his sister Kathy Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the same location.
