In loving memory of Rick A. Brewington of Grayslake, Illinois, who departed this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 73. Rick leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlene Lois Brewington Jr. and Alonzo Brewington; and his brothers-in-law, Craig Davidson and Dennis Mott. He is survived by: his wife Sally Brewington; his children, Rick Brewington Jr., Shelley Brewington, Jamie Brewington (Carol) and Amanda Zickovich (Jim); his pet Sofy; his grandchildren, Jake, Kenzi, Wade and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Brad and Ryen; his siblings, Donna Mott, Sharon Brady (Garry), Debbie DeGrand and Charlie Brewington (Sue); and his friends, John and Vivian. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and brothers- and sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Point Church (900 Lewis Ave, Winthrop Harbor, IL 60096). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
