Stephen Louis Perna Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Louis Perna of Grayslake, Illinois, born in Batavia, Illinois, who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Perna and Ella Perna; his wife Wendy; his daughter Alyssa; his sisters, Karen Perna and Julie Phillips; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Barkei, Larry Cherco, Kent Phillips and Leah Perna.
He is survived by: his daughter Lauren Browne; his son-in-law Sam; his grandchildren, Lucas and Paige; and his siblings, Kathy Barkei, Jane Cherco, Matthew, Christopher (Stephanie) and Adam Perna (Niki). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moss Family Funeral Home - Batavia (209 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510). A prayer will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (2300 Main St, Batavia, IL 60510).
