He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Owen and Genevieve Owen (Rudisill). He is survived by: his wife Lena Owen; his children, Joyce York (Kevin) and Kevin Owen (Pam); his grandchildren, Tiffany Cowles (Ron), Amber Elliot, Joseph Polston (Amanda), Ayrton Owen, Emily Owen and Nigel Owen; his great grandchildren, Alexis McKenzie, Matthew Cowles, Keeley Polston and Marlee Cowles; his brothers, Jim Owen (Judy) and Robert Owen; and his sister-in-law Wanda Bohach (John).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jerry's memory may be made to Grayville Senior Citizen's Center or Northside Baptist Church and will be accepted by Roberts and Cook Funeral Service has been entrusted with arrangements.
