He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Schmittler and Clarabell Schmittler (Knowles). He is survived by: his wife Linda Schmittler of Grayville; his children, Celina Hargan (Mark) of St. Louis, MO, Chris Schmittler (Lori) of Ellery and Dale Schmittler (Audrey) of Albion; his grandchildren, Matthew Hargan, McKenzie Hargan, Molly Silver (Matt), Malia Schmittler, Ty Schmittler, Ryan Head (Regan), Katlin Johannigman (Chris), Nathaniel Schmittler (Haley) and Martin Schmittler (Lexi); and his great grandchildren, Ruby, Keeley, Louella, Asher, Savy, Dani and Bella.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larry's memory may be made to the Grayville Senior Citizens Center, 212 East North Street, Grayville, Illinois 62844.
