He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. and Mary E. Maas Sr. (Adcock); his former wife Pearlene Bailey; his grandsons, PJ Alvey and Elijah Luczaj; and his siblings, Yvonne Morris and Larry D. Maas.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Connett Poulsen of Green Valley; his children, Jon Maas (Michelle) of Mackinaw and Melissa Williams (Rick) of Bartonville; his grandchildren, Lindsey Beyer (Ryan) of East Peoria, Ryan Maas (Jenna) of Woodridge, IL and Ethan Maas of Washington, IL; and his sister Diana Mathison (Gary) of Bradenton, FL..
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Glendale Memorial Gardens (18119 IL-9, Pekin, IL 61554).
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
