She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Scritchlow and Lois Scritchlow (Bartlet); and her brothers, Terry (Joan), K. Wayne and Glenn.
She is survived by: her husband Randy Hurt; her daughter Kathy of Greenup, IL; her sister-in-law Joni Scritchlow of Bloomington, IL; and her sibling's children, Ryan Scritchlow (Carrie), Miles Scritchlow (Monica) and Aly Scritchlow McGee (Derek). She is also survived by 9 great-nieces and nephews, a host of cousins, and her beloved pets.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barkley Funeral Chapel (300 N Kentucky St, Greenup, IL 62428). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cumberland County Animal Control or Effingham County Animal Shelter and control.
