He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Herman (Elizabeth Janssen); his daughter-in-law Nora McCool; his children, Stacie Skelton (Rusty), Aaron Janssen (Amy) and Megan Beiermann (Craig); his grandchildren, Rachel (Ben), Clayton, Grace (Wes), Alex, Ashtyn, Abbi, Adalynn, Kaisley and Emberlie; and his siblings, Ron (Bonnie), Dale, Allen (Karla), W. C. "Dub" (Mary Jo), Karen (Don) and Kevin (Jackie).

Memorial contributions can be made to "Stitch N' Go" at Laurel United Methodist Church.
