He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde Russell and Louise Alexander (Robinson). He is survived by : his wife JoAnn Elizabeth Smoot of Greenville, Illinois; his children, Gary Alexander (Vicky) of Greenville, Illinois and Christine (John Rezabek) of Greenville, Illinois; his grandson Jace Bowen of Greenville; and his sister Carol Alexander of Greenville, Illinois..
