We bid farewell to Barbara L. Trojan of Greenville, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2024 at the age of 88. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Trojan and Daisy Trojan (Matuszak); her sister Geri Yardley; her brother-in-law Howard Yardley, Jr.; her nephew Robert Yardley; her nieces, Pam Craig (Lynn) of Greenville and Caryn Zyla of Oak Forest, Illinois; and also Mike Zyla.

She is survived by : her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren Jeffers (Rob), Megan Craig (J. R.), Andy Craig (Amy) and Ian Craig; and also, Korie Craig, Kammryn Craig, Penny Craig, Keith Craig, Ben Crowe, Ethan Jeffers and Kaleb Craig.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Assalley-Young Funeral Home (118 E College Ave, Greenville, IL 62246). The inurnment was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery - Greenville Greenville (1206 E Oak St, Greenville, IL 62246).

The family asks that memorials be given to the Bond County Humane Society, in lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, as animals, especially dogs, were a huge part of Barbara's life.
