We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2022, at the age of 67, James Merle Shaw of Greenville, Illinois, born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parent Roberta Shaw (Smith); and his siblings, Jeannie Wirtz and Earl Shaw. He is survived by : his parent Roberta Wirtz of Greenville, IL; his daughter Lauri Sampson of Las Vegas, NV; his close friend Barbara Eulberg of Greenville; his siblings, John Berry (Peggy) of Greenville, IL, Martha Grawe (Craig) of Keyesport, IL and Jeanette Faircloth (Brent) of Sparta, IL; his stepson Ronnie Thomas of Greenville, IL; his grandchildren, Tiffanie, Brittany, Donnie (Lunky) and Makayla; his stepgrandchildren, Jesse and Jacob; and his nieces and nephews, David Kious, Ryan McClellan, Jonathan Berry, Christopher Shaw, Travis Shaw, Trevor Shaw, Pam Stone and Kimberly Foppe. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, great nieces and great nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Merle, to the Bond County Humane Society, 2510 S. Elm St., Greenville, IL 62246 and/or the VFW Auxiliary, 2043 S. 4th St., Greenville, IL 62246. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in James Merle Shaw's name.
