He is survived by: his in-laws, Ernest and Florence Rees (Miller); his wife Verna McAteer (Rees); his children, Daniel McAteer (Lynn) of Rolling Meadows, IL and Maura Campbell (Craig) of Greenville, IL.; his grandchildren, Madison Portland (Brian) of Loveland, OH, Caleb Campbell (Lauren) of Poplar Bluff, MO, Sean McAteer of Chicago, IL, John Campbell (Kailee) of Madisonville, KY, William McAteer of Iowa City, IA, Elizabeth Campbell of Evansville, IN and Katrina Campbell of Williamsburg, KY.; his great grandchild Cecelia Campbell of Madisonville, KY; his sister-in-law Carole Murray (Lisle Gates) of Castle Rock, CO; and his nephews, John Johnston (Rebecca) and Don Johnston (Kim) of Belleville, IL. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
