He was predeceased by: his parent August; his stepson Chad Dempsey; his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Scott (Don), Pat Meier, Virgil Voss and Paul Voss; and his brother-in-law Frank Dall.
He is survived by: his children, John T. Voss of Carbondale, Kim Voss of Belleville, Charlie Voss (Billie Jo) of Lakeland, FL and Misty Dempsey of St. Louis; his stepchildren, Cindy Russell of Belleville, Judy Dempsey of Carbondale and Jeff Barton of Carbondale; and his sisters, Mary Ann Diaz (Antolin) of Mexico, Joann Dall of Aviston and Ruth Eversgerd (Maurice) of Germantown. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the family and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N 5th St., Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
