It is with sadness that the passing of Rozella May Brown (Greenville, Illinois) is shared. Rozella, born on December 2, 1931, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett White and Emma White; her husband Raymond Brown, Jr.; her brothers, Earl, Robert and Charles White; and her son-in-law Lyle Nolan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Nolan of Highland and Linda Walcheck (Larry) of Pocahontas; her grandsons, Mark Nolan of Greenville and Jeffrey Nolan of Greenville; her great grandchildren, Kristi Smith (Scott) and Brittney Earnest (Dustin); and her great great grandchildren, Violet Smith, Lauren, Emma and Blair Earnest. She is also survived by her two daughters, grandchildren and the rest of her family.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:30 AM and on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Assalley-Young Funeral Home (118 E College Ave, Greenville, IL 62246). Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
