He is survived by: his wife Tara Downey (Eichelberger) of Griggsville, IL; his children, Marissa Bradshaw (Hayden) of Griggsville, IL, Caitlyn Murphree (Brandon) of New Salem, IL and Christopher Downey (Amber) of Kinderhook, IL; his grandchildren, Asher Bradshaw, Halle and Emerson Murphree; his sisters, Leann McConnell (Kent), Darla Conkling (Bill) and Theresa Shelton; his extended family Denny Waid (Christin); Landon, Hunter, Zoe and Spencer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Niebur Funeral Home (530 W Adams St, Pittsfield, IL 62363). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
