Larry Rose Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Rose of Griggsville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Rose and Velma Hohe Rose; his grandson Waylon Rose; his brother Paul Rose; his brother-in-law Junior Cooley; and his in-laws, Harold and Lois Hull.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Rose; his children, Dena Rose of Quincy, IL, Melody Ruble (Tom) of Griggsville, IL, Ron Rose of Griggsville, IL, Pam Harn (Rick) of Chatsworth, IL and Debbie Sellars (Jay) of Murrayville, IL; his grandchildren, Danny Pryor (Brittney), Kiona Wright (Jason), Kara Sweet (Nick), Derek Oitker (Kendra), Bridget Bush (Jimmy), Cole Rose, Jennifer Bell, Mitchell Faulkner (Megan), Josh Harn (Shelby), Blake Howland (Alissa), Jaelan Sellars, Dominic Sellars, Dakota Sellars (Jessica), Colton Sellars (Emma), Dane Sellars (Brooke), Coy Sellars (Tatum), Deea Vortman (Paul) and Michelle Howard; his sister Anna Mae Cooley; and his sister-in-law Carol Rose. He is also survived by thirty four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
