He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sr. Kruse and Cordelia Kruse (Remmert); his wife Judith Hall; and his brother Henry Kruse, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Parkin (Terry) of Pekin and Leanne Kruse (Cindy) of Monterey, Tennessee; his granddaughters, Karis Lawson (Douglas) of Groveland and Karlee Parkin (Brandon Lanhardt) of Groveland; his great grandchildren, Freya Kay, Beckett Lawson, Evan Lanhardt and Paxton Parkin; and his siblings, Robert Kruse, Glenda Kruse and Dale Kruse. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home (140 S Detroit Ave, Morton, IL 61550). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
