It is with sadness that the passing of Daniel Joseph Olivett of Gurnee, Illinois is shared. Daniel passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Olivett and Dominic Olivett. He is survived by: his grandson Dan; his wife Victoria Olivett (Kamar); his daughters, Rosemary Baroud (Robert), Teresa Vorkapic (Djuro) and Monica Braun (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Lily, Joseph, Anna, Maria, Danica, Victoria, Daniel, Veronica and Vivian. He is also survived by family and grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 4:45 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Gurnee Salata Funeral Home (4190 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL 60031). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (6401 Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at the Ascension Cemetery (1920 W Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048).
