She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Adams and Gladys Adams; her husband Jesse Shanks; her brother Ted; her niece Hilary; and her sisters-in-law, Marlene Woodside, Jean Adams and Pixie Adams.
She is survived by: her daughter Linden Jane; her granddaughter Susan Yates; her great grandchildren, Andrew and Haley Yates; her brother Robert Adams; and her cousin Valerie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
